Swimming Pool refunds are issued for filling your swimming pool. Please note that the filling of a pool is defined as any total filling and can be as a result of initial construction or after the pool has been drained for repair. Refunds will not be made for normal water loss during the pool’s operation. Below are the procedures for requesting a refund:
1. A brief letter requesting a refund is required, please include your telephone number. Our mailing address is North
Charleston Sewer District P.O. Box 63009, North Charleston, SC 29419.
2. Send a copy of the water bill for the period that the pool was filled, which must be paid in full.
3. Send a copy of the pool dimensions from the pool installer or manufacturer: if you can not obtain the information
from either we suggest you contact the firm that you purchase supplies and/or chemicals from and ask them to
measure your pool and provide a statement giving dimensions and capacity. [ Refunds will not be made for pools
containing less than 500 cubic feet (3,740 gallons) of water.]
4. No refund will be made until all required information has been provided.
