Sick Leave
Will start to accrue in the seventh month after successful completion of probation
Sick leave is always accrued at eight (8) hours per month except for 12 hour shift employees, which accrue at eight point four (8.4) hours per month. Eligible part time employees will receive sick leave based on average hours worked per week.
Sick leave may be used for sickness, doctor’s visits and if you have the accrued time on the books you may use seven (7) days annually for sickness or doctor’s visits for immediate family members
Each employee is able to accumulate a maximum of 1040 hours in his sick leave account
Employees who have accumulated the maximum hours of sick leave will receive 25% of their monthly accrual as annual leave in lieu of receiving sick leave as long as the balance exceeds 1040 hours any and every month they do not use sick leave for that month
Annual Leave
Will start to accrue in the seventh month after successful completion of probation
Will accrue 6.67 hours per month (equal to 80 hours per year) and increases after 3 years of continued services etc according to service schedule
Annual leave may be accumulated, within certain limits according to years of service
Paid Funeral Leave (after successful completion of initial probation)

Maximum of four (4) paid work weeks per year
