The Purchasing Department is responsible for procuring all goods and services for the District. The Department strives to utilize known resources as well as newer technology to acquire the best value in goods and services while meeting all legal and District procurement regulations.

Purchases estimated to be: Are required to be purchased using:
$ 1.00 - $ 1,499.99   The most competitive yet expedient manner possible
$ 1,500 - $ 4,999.99 Three verbal price quotations.
$ 5,000 - $ 9,999.99 At least three verbal quotations confirmed in writing, and purchase made based upon the most economical and responsible quote
$ 10,000 - $ 24,999.99 At least three written quotations and purchase made based upon the most economical and responsible quote

 Normal expenditures estimated to be $25,000 or more are required to be purchased by formal Bid or Proposal method, which must be approved by the NCSD Commission.  All formal Bid and Proposal openings are held at 7225 Stall Road.
